Queen Annes Lace

The wild carrot is well known to wild flower lovers as Queen Anne's Lace. The flower clusters are delicate and showy. The cultivated carrot people eat has a European and Asiatic origin. However, the beautiful flower depicted in Jim's painting grows in North America as a wild variety.
